Lea River Park

The new Lea River Park - a green link from the south of the Olympic Park to East India Dock Basin, along the River Lea is one of the strategic aims of the London Thames Gateway Development Corporation (LTGDC) and is an indication of the effort and new energy being directed into the area. Thames 21

Thames 21 are an environmental charity working  closely with the LTGDC and local communities.Thames21 have a local office just down the canal from Island House at Bow Locks.They organise and  mobilise thousands of volunteers each year to clean up and improve the local waterways.Thames21 are also working with local communities on the Lea River Park project.
